Dr. Antonio Deluzio is a board-certified endocrinologist and the founder of ReNu Endocrinology, a telehealth-first practice built on the belief that every patient — regardless of geography — deserves access to expert, unhurried hormonal care.

Dr. Deluzio's path to endocrinology began with military service at the United States Naval Academy, followed by undergraduate studies at the University of Pennsylvania. He earned his Doctor of Medicine degree Summa Cum Laude from the University of Health Sciences in Kansas City, Missouri — a distinction reflecting his exceptional academic achievement and early commitment to clinical excellence.

His clinical training was both rigorous and unusually comprehensive: Dr. Deluzio completed dual residencies in Internal Medicine and Clinical Pathology, followed by two subspecialty fellowships — one in Endocrinology, Diabetes & Metabolism, and a second in General Clinical Research. This dual-fellowship training gave him not only deep expertise in hormonal disorders, but also a research-driven, evidence-based approach to patient care that remains central to his practice today.

Over the course of his career, Dr. Deluzio has founded and led multiple endocrinology practices, working extensively in both hospital-based and outpatient settings. He is known for taking the time to truly listen, explain complex hormonal conditions in plain language, and build treatment plans that align with each patient's individual goals and lifestyle.

Beyond clinical practice, Dr. Deluzio brings a rare and invaluable perspective from his leadership roles in the pharmaceutical industry. He served as the Medical Affairs leader at Novo Nordisk, where he was responsible for Ozempic — one of the most transformative diabetes and metabolic health medications in modern medicine. He later held the position of Vice President of New Diabetes Products at Sanofi Pharmaceuticals, overseeing the development and launch strategy for next-generation diabetes therapies.

This insider pharmaceutical experience means Dr. Deluzio doesn't just prescribe medications based on clinical guidelines — he understands how they were developed, why they work, and where the evidence is strongest.
